A panorama of Avebury Stone Circle in Wiltshire and the adjacent sports ground with Silbury Hill in the distance. The pictures for this panorama were taken in on a nice spring day in March 2003. The white house with the thatched roof in the centre of the circle is the Red Lion, probably the only pub in the world in the centre of a stone circle. If you look into the distance behind the football field you can just make out Silbury Hill.
