The Armin Grewe Homepage

A panorama of a Sandwood Bay. On the left you can just make out Sandwood Loch behind the dunes. The path from Blairmore comes over the hills here and leads through the dunes to the beach. At the end of the cliffs at the south west end of the bay is the rock stack (sea stack) of Am Buachaille (The Herdsman). Out in the sea the group of islets is called Am Balg. Then a long view out to the sea before the coast line leading north east to Cape Wrath comes into sight on the right. The slightly higher hill at the end of Sandwood Bay is Cnoc a' Gheodha Ruaidh (182m). Just below it but not visible from this viewpoint Strath Chailleach runs down towards the beach, down a steep waterfall (also hidden from view here).

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama.
