The Armin Grewe Homepage

A panorama of a view over the eastern side of The Oa on the Isle of Islay. Standing and sitting right in front of us are father and son Keys. If you draw a line straight up from Gus (in the green hooded shirt) to the horizon you can make out the white buildings of Laphroig distillery, approx 6 miles from where we're standing. Port Ellen is to the left of it, but hidden by the hills. To the right you can see the small island of Texa, behind and slightly to the right of the walkers coming up the hill below us. Kintyre in the haze on the horizon. Follow the line of the cliffs in front of us and you would end up at Rubha nan Leacan (not really visible as behind the cliffs), the most southerly point on Islay. On the horizon you can just make out the southern tip of Kintyre with the Mull of Kintyre in the haze.

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama.
