After arriving in Scotland I spent a little bit of time in Glasgow, visiting museums and other attractions. Among other places I visited George Square with the Glasgow City Chambers, Glasgow University and the famous cemetery at Necropolis. I also visited the Gallery of Modern Art with an interesting statue of the queen as well as the famous Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery.

From Glasgow I travelled through Argyll to Islay for a few days.
