On my second visit to the Isle of Islay I had a few great days with fantastic weather, blue skies with beautiful sunshine. The sun was so strong that I was sunburned severely, not something I had been prepared for in Scotland...

Among other places I visited Claggain Bay, The Oa with the American Monument, Machir Bay and the ruins of Dunyvaig Castle from my base in Port Charlotte on the Rhinns of Islay. Islay is famous for its single malt whisky, I visited several of the distilleries during my stay as well.
