Raglan Castle (or Castell Rhaglan in Welsh) is in the south east of Wales, next to the A40 between Monmouth and Abergavenny. Construction started in 1435, work continued through the 16th century until the castle was destroyed in the 17th century after falling to Cromwell's forces in the Civil War.
