The Armin Grewe Homepage

A panorama of the building site for the former Islay Hotel in Port Ellen. This view is from late October 2008. Good progress was made in the three months since July 2008. The first floor has been completed and work on the second floor has made huge progress. The roof was starting to take shape, which was crucial to be ready for the winter months on Islay. With the autumn and winter storms just around the corner (the first autumn storm had actually just passed) time was pressing to get the roof finished.

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama. Some areas in the panorama are hotspots, if you move your mouse pointer over them a short explanation will show in the status bar of the panorama window.
