A view over Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay. We are standing on the dunes in the south of the bay and are looking over Tràigh Flèisgein Mhòr and out to sea. The view is mainly west and north, Am Miadar to the south west and the distinctively shaped rocks at Dun Bheolain in the north. Not many people around, if you look closely you can find my mother and my sister in the panorama.

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama. Some areas in the panorama are hotspots, if you move your mouse pointer over them a short explanation will show in the status bar of the panorama window.

If you came from the Two weeks on Islay in June 2007 travelogue you can return to the travelogue and further pictures of our afternoon at Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay.
